The Award is organized by the World Future Council in partnership with the Geneva Centre for Security Policy (GCSP), the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU), and the Basel Peace Office, this event promises to be an inspiring evening of celebration, inspiration, and commitment to lasting peace.
We annually recognise exemplary policies that contribute to sustainable development and well-being for present and future generations. This year, our theme is Peace and Future Generations, highlighting the importance of innovative policies that prevent conflict and foster a culture of peace.
From 47 nominations across 29 countries, our international expert jury selected 12 outstanding finalists. We will reveal and celebrate the winning policies at the ceremony, which will be held on November 27, 2024, at 18:00, in the Maison de la Paix, in Geneva (Auditorium Ivan Pictet A1B), followed by a reception at the same venue.
