Archive to support a Middle East Zone free of Nuclear Weapons and other WMD

The Basel Peace Office hosts an archive of documents to support the proposal for a Middle East Zone Free from Nuclear Weapons and Other Weapons of Mass Destruction, in particular documents of use to civil society in their actions to support the UN Conference on establishing such a zone.

 

  1. Parliamentary Statement Supporting a Middle East Zone Free from Nuclear Weapons and Other Weapons of Mass Destruction

    This joint parliamentary statement is based on the United Nations General Assembly resolution, which is adopted annually by consensus, supporting a Middle East Nuclear Weapon Free Zone. It was drafted in consultation with parliamentarians and disarmament experts from Israel, Iran, Egypt, Jordan, US, UK and other relevant countries.
